We offer a daily delivery service and are always willing to try to deliver flowers either in the morning or afternoon. If the flowers have to be delivered at or by a certain time, please ask as we always try to fit in with you.If the recipient is out, we will either:•Leave the flowers with a neighbour and put a card through the letterbox explaining where the flowers have been left.•Leave the flowers (only if appropriate ie. in a shady area) and put a card through the letterbox explaining where we’ve left them.•If we are unable to deliver the flowers we will put a card through the letterbox explaining we have tried to deliver ask the recipient to contact us so we can re-deliver at a convenient time.A lot of shops advertise free delivery, there is no such thing as free delivery – if an organisation advertises this it simply isn’t true, it means that they’ve included a charge for delivery in the total price already. To buy, maintain and keep vans on the road and pay the drivers is expensive so we do make a delivery charge which covers the costs associated with the delivery and no more. The charge we make is based on the distance travelled to get to the delivery address so the further away from the shops, the more it is. We feel it better to be up front with our delivery charge policy rather than deduct the money from the flowers.
